The only real problem I think most people had with the first game was the low map count, and no capability for user-made levels. This resolves to a fairly solid confirmation that Payday 3 is on the horizon. The devs at Starbreeze made a small update post that notes theyre still working on it. They will not add those characters to PAYDAY 3 at all. I do hope that visually it's a little more refined, but I'm not terribly concerned if it's not a huge upgrade. The first game was a ton of fun, and I think I think I've dropped in around 90 hours on it so far (if the Steam record is accurate).
